According to insights from several dealership sales advisors, the Kia Morning 2025 has arrived and is awaiting its official launch. Some insiders suggest that the new Morning will debut alongside the new Sorento today (September 13th). Both models are domestically assembled.

Initial images reveal two distinct Morning variants. Dealers indicate there will be at least three versions. The anticipated pricing for the new Morning is higher than its predecessor. Currently, the older model is available in two variants: a manual transmission priced at 349 million VND and an automatic transmission at 424 million VND.
Specific details about the new Morning’s features remain undisclosed. However, based on the visuals, several updates to this A-segment hatchback are discernible.

As a facelifted version, the Morning 2025 retains its original silhouette. The most notable design changes are in the front fascia, rear lights, and wheel rims. The vertical headlights resemble those of the Carnival and the upcoming Sorento. The premium variant features LED headlights with three vertical lenses, while the lower-tier version uses a single halogen lens. The LED taillights span horizontally, similar to the Carnival. The 16-inch wheels are two-tone, and the higher-end model includes a roof rack.
A leaked image, likely a key visual for the new Morning, along with dealership photos, offers a glimpse into the upgraded interior.

The centerpiece is a large cluster behind the steering wheel, combining a 4.2-inch central display with two electronic screens on either side, similar to the Accent. The central touchscreen (possibly 8 inches) features a Vietnamese interface and supports wireless Apple CarPlay. The premium variant includes automatic climate control, while the base model has manual controls. The parking brake remains mechanical, and the seats are manually adjustable with leather upholstery.
Based on the images, the new Morning does not include ADAS features, unlike the Korean version.
The engine is likely unchanged. The current model uses a 1.25L engine producing 86 horsepower and 120 Nm of torque, paired with a 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission, depending on the variant.
The Kia Morning competes with the Hyundai Grand i10 and Toyota Wigo. With these leaked upgrades, the Morning is poised to intensify competition in its segment. However, according to VAMA and TC Group’s 2025 mid-year statistics, the Morning had the lowest sales in its segment, with 174 units sold. In contrast, the Wigo and i10 sold 1,158 and 1,594 units, respectively.
