Truck Container Catches Fire Mid-Road, Revealing Shocking Secret Hidden in 195 Styrofoam Boxes

A massive container truck fire in Lang Son led to the discovery of nearly 3 tons of sausages with unknown origins, packed in 195 styrofoam boxes. Authorities are currently investigating and handling the case.

Recently, according to information from the Mau Son Commune Police in Lang Son Province, the unit, in collaboration with relevant authorities, handled a truck fire incident within the commune. During the operation, a significant amount of goods with unclear origins were discovered.

Earlier, at around 3:30 PM on September 8th, the Mau Son Commune Police received a report about a fire involving a tractor-trailer with license plate number 12H-040.93 and semi-trailer 12RM-013.93, driven by Mr. Vi Van Thoai (born in 1978, residing in Long Dau Village, Mau Son Commune). The incident occurred at Km10+150 on Provincial Road 236, within Long Dau Village, Mau Son Commune.

The commune police swiftly arrived at the scene, deployed forces to ensure security and order, and coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department to extinguish the fire. By 5:30 PM the same day, the fire was brought under control, with no casualties reported.

During the firefighting process, authorities discovered numerous Styrofoam boxes containing frozen sausages (with foreign labels) on the semi-trailer.

The Mau Son Commune Police collaborated with the Economic Police Department, Chi Ma Border Guard Station, and Market Management Team No. 3 to inspect and transport all the goods, along with the driver, to the police station for further investigation.

Upon inspection, authorities identified 195 white Styrofoam boxes containing sausages (20 packs per box), totaling 2,730 kg. At the time of inspection, the driver could not provide any documentation proving the origin of the goods.

The case is currently under investigation by the Lang Son Provincial Police in collaboration with relevant authorities to determine the cause of the fire and handle the goods in accordance with the law.
