First Prize Winning Design.

Recently, the organizing unit of the competition – the Network Infrastructure Corporation – announced the results of the architectural design competition for the High-Tech Post and Telecommunications Center Project – Phase II (VNPT-IT Building).

The First Prize was awarded to Design No. 03 by the Consortium of Huni Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Vietnam Design Consulting Co., Ltd.

Previously, on May 20, VNPT announced the architectural design competition for the High-Tech Post and Telecommunications Center Project – Phase II (VNPT-IT Building).

The purpose of the competition was to select the optimal design that meets the requirements of planning, architecture, technology, culture, and reflects the significance and nature of the construction as the headquarters of a modern information technology company.

Additionally, the design must be highly feasible, capable of implementation, and meet economic and social efficiency, satisfying the requirements of the design task approved by the investor.

The project includes the construction of a 25-story building with 3 basement levels, a total floor area of approximately 68,400 m², an above-ground floor area of about 51,000 m², and a basement floor area of around 17,400 m², accommodating over 2,500 employees.

The total investment for the project exceeds 1.5 trillion VND. It is a Grade I civil construction, Group B project, with the Network Infrastructure Corporation as the investor.

Upon completion, the building will serve as the headquarters and research and development center for information technology for VNPT Information Technology Company, under the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group.

According to VNPT’s documents, the project will begin its investment preparation phase in Q1/2026, followed by construction from Q1/2026, expected to last until Q4/2029.

Notably, the construction site is located at 28 Xuan Tao Street, Xuan La Ward, Tay Ho District, Hanoi (under the old administrative division). This location is adjacent to the Tay Ho Tay Urban Area (commercially known as Starlake Tay Ho Tay), considered the “wealthy area” due to its high-priced apartments, villas, and townhouses in the capital.

According to the land price list issued by the Hanoi People’s Committee last year (applicable until December 31, 2025), Tay Ho Tay is the most expensive urban area in the capital. The highest road price in this project reaches over 113 million VND/m², 3.3 times higher than the old price list.

Currently, many apartments in the Starlake urban area are being sold at prices exceeding 130 million VND/m². For villas, the prices are even more expensive, ranging from 400 to 800 million VND/m².
