On September 23, AEON Vietnam Co., Ltd. will officially launch AEON Tan An, the first shopping mall in the Mekong Delta region and the 8th mall by the Japanese retail giant in Vietnam after a decade of operation.

Construction began in May 2024, with AEON Mall Tan An spanning nearly 2.2 hectares in Long An Ward, Tay Ninh Province. Strategically located on National Highway 1A, just 1km from the Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong Expressway, the mall boasts excellent regional connectivity. This prime location not only serves locals but also attracts visitors from Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces.

With an investment of over 1,000 billion VND, AEON Mall Tan An features a 4-story building covering more than 21,900m². It hosts approximately 30 stores, including 25 brands making their debut in the Mekong Delta.

The mall’s layout is diverse: the ground floor houses AEON Supermarket and the Delica food court; the first floor features fashion, electronics, and furniture stores; the second floor includes a bookstore, play area, dining options, and an outdoor terrace; and the third floor is home to Galaxy Cinema. Additionally, sports shops, cafes, and restaurants cater to all shopping, entertainment, and dining needs.

AEON Tan An is ideally situated in the heart of Tay Ninh Province’s new administrative center.

A standout feature of AEON Mall Tan An is its integration of advanced technology to enhance customer experience, including digital signage, facial recognition smart lockers, and a free automated parking system. The mall also provides child care rooms, strollers, and wheelchairs, ensuring convenience and accessibility for all visitors.

Once operational, the mall will offer a modern shopping experience with a wide range of products and services.

Vietnam is AEON’s second-largest strategic market, following Japan. The group aims to triple its scale by 2030 through expansion, partnerships, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Over the past decade, AEON has invested over 1.5 billion USD in Vietnam, operating 8 shopping malls and more than 200 supermarkets, convenience stores, and specialty stores.
