The Can Tho City Tax Department recently issued Announcement No. 2639/TB-CTH, disclosing a list of 409 taxpayers with outstanding tax debts and other state budget liabilities as of August 31, 2025, totaling VND 3,715 billion.

Leading the list is Nam Song Hau Petroleum Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, with a tax debt exceeding 90 days amounting to nearly VND 1,278 billion.

In second place is Dong Phuong Petroleum Joint Stock Company, owing over VND 807 billion in taxes for more than 90 days. Third is Ngan Thuan Construction Co., Ltd., with a tax debt of nearly VND 635 billion.

Following are two enterprises with tax debts ranging from VND 100 billion to under VND 200 billion: S.W.P Southwest Petroleum Co., Ltd. – Can Tho Branch, with over VND 192 billion, and the Can Tho Branch of Nam Song Hau Petroleum Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, with nearly VND 114 billion.

Massive tax debts from Nam Song Hau Petroleum and its branches

Next are eight companies with tax debts between VND 20 billion and under VND 100 billion. These include Can Tho Central General Hospital, owing nearly VND 99 billion; Nam Song Hau Petroleum Trading Co., Ltd. in Soc Trang, with nearly VND 71 billion; Thien Loc Co., Ltd., owing nearly VND 43 billion; and Trung Son Joint Stock Company, with VND 38 billion.

Eleven companies have tax debts ranging from VND 10 billion to under VND 20 billion, including Can Tho Shipbuilding and Transportation Industry Joint Stock Company, with over VND 19 billion; Soc Trang Construction Joint Stock Company, with over VND 12 billion; and Can Tho Oncology Hospital, with over VND 12 billion.

Seven enterprises owe between VND 5 billion and under VND 10 billion, such as 720 Joint Stock Company, with nearly VND 8 billion, and the Soc Trang Branch of Nam Song Hau Petroleum Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, with nearly VND 8 billion.

Twenty-one companies have tax debts from VND 1 billion to under VND 5 billion, including the second Soc Trang Branch of Nam Song Hau Petroleum Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, owing nearly VND 4 billion; Minh Tri Production and Trading Co., Ltd., with nearly VND 4 billion; and Mekong Joint Stock Company, with nearly VND 3 billion.
