ThirdHome, an elite vacation home exchange club, has set its sights on the Vietnamese market.
Currently, ThirdHome’s leadership team is in Southeast Asia exploring expansion opportunities, with Vietnam identified as a key target market.
Wade Shealey, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of ThirdHome, stated that entering Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, is a strategic move in the brand’s global expansion plan.
Shealey noted that Vietnam is witnessing a significant rise in the ownership of high-end vacation homes, driven by the growing number of affluent individuals in the country.
His observation is supported by the booming luxury travel market and the increasing trend of owning second homes in Vietnam.
According to a recent report by C9 Hotelworks, a leading consultancy in real estate and hospitality in Southeast Asia, Vietnam accounts for 41% of the future supply of branded real estate projects in Asia.
Additionally, Vietnam’s luxury tourism market is projected to grow at an annual rate of 6.5% from 2025 to 2033.
Founded in 2010, ThirdHome has rapidly grown into the world’s largest private network for owners of luxury vacation homes.
ThirdHome’s model is straightforward: members share their vacation homes for a certain number of weeks annually, in exchange for access to stunning properties worldwide.
The club’s portfolio includes 20,000 luxury vacation homes across over 100 countries, valued between $500,000 and $50 million. The collection features private residences, from castles and villas to penthouses and yachts.
ThirdHome also partners with renowned global hotel and resort brands such as The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club, Hyatt Vacation Club, Four Seasons Private Residences, and other prestigious names.
Currently, ThirdHome’s Vietnamese portfolio includes 12 high-end villas and estates. This collection is set to expand rapidly once ThirdHome officially launches in Vietnam.
