Tax Department Encourages Solution Providers to Accelerate Implementation of Electronic Invoicing

In accordance with Decree 70/2025/ND-CP, the Tax Department has dispatched official letters to organizations providing solutions and data transmission services, requesting their cooperation in implementing electronic invoices with codes, initiated from cash registers. The primary focus of this implementation is on households directly selling goods and services to consumers.

The tax authorities have requested that these organizations disclose information about their electronic invoice products and services, focusing on packages suitable for households and small businesses. The software solutions should be simple, reasonably priced, user-friendly, and offer free support or discounts for micro-businesses.

To facilitate the implementation process, the Tax Department has suggested that these organizations assign personnel to provide direct or online guidance at business locations, especially during the peak months of June and July 2025. Additionally, they are advised to establish a quick response technical support channel to promptly address any issues that may arise during the use of the electronic invoicing system.

The Tax Department also emphasized the importance of ensuring accuracy in software settings and guiding taxpayers to use the functions correctly, preventing revenue discrepancies or fraudulent activities. This contributes to enhancing transparency in tax management, reducing budget deficits, and promoting the development of a modern and equitable digital finance system.

Organizations are encouraged to contact the Tax Department’s support team at [email protected] or 024.7305.5999 if they encounter any difficulties during the implementation process. They may also coordinate with data transmission organizations that are already connected to handle technical issues.

The Tax Department affirms that the implementation of electronic invoices initiated from cash registers is a crucial step in administrative procedure reform and digital transformation in the tax sector. The collaboration of the business community is essential to the success of this initiative.
