At the same time, it is necessary to urgently review and compile a detailed list of specific locations that require intensified efforts to prevent and combat smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, fake milk, medicines, and food supplements, as well as substandard food products and goods infringing intellectual property rights, for inspection and handling in accordance with regulations.

According to Telegram 82, dated June 4, the Prime Minister demands even stronger and more determined measures during this intensive month-long campaign to prevent and combat smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property rights infringements.

Ministers of ministries, sector leaders, and Chairpersons of provincial and municipal People’s Committees must strengthen their direction and urge forces to closely coordinate and continue to promote the intensive campaign to prevent and combat smuggling, trade fraud…

Building on the initial results of this intensive campaign, we need to further energize and intensify our efforts with even greater determination and resolve to achieve substantial outcomes.

In parallel, it is essential to promptly detect and strictly handle violators and any officials, civil servants, or officers exhibiting signs of moral decline, corruption, negativity, or collusion with law-violating entities. The principle of “handling one case to warn a whole area and industry” and “no forbidden zones or exceptions” should be firmly upheld.

The Prime Minister also requests that Provincial and Municipal Party Committee Secretaries directly lead and closely guide Party committees, authorities, and the entire political system to proactively and actively engage in the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property rights infringements.
