Remaps Joint Stock Company announced that on the morning of September 25, 2025, Mr. Le Minh Duc – Founder & CEO of Remaps, passed away at the age of 41.

The company’s statement reads: “Throughout his tenure as the founder of Remaps, he laid a solid foundation for the company and played a significant role in developing tools to support the real estate community. He also shared valuable lessons based on his extensive practical experiences.”

With his optimistic spirit and genuine encouragement, he inspired many young people, offering profound insights into real estate and motivating them to strive for daily growth.

Mr. Le Minh Duc appeared on Season 5 of Shark Tank Vietnam, seeking a $1 million investment for a 20% stake in the company.

He successfully secured a deal, agreeing to accept a minimum investment of 10 billion VND for a maximum of 40% equity from Shark Hung Anh.

However, the company later announced the termination of its partnership with Shark Hung Anh.

“In early 2023, Remaps and Shark Hung Anh agreed to end their collaboration due to the expiration of the agreement without reaching detailed terms, which could have been further prolonged. Therefore, Remaps decided to allocate additional shares to other investors instead of prioritizing Shark Hung Anh as initially promised,” shared the founder of Remaps.

Remaps is introduced as a platform offering users various utilities, including searching for real estate locations by land ownership certificates, viewing planning information to assess potential, referencing prices, project details, and a community for buyers, sellers, and brokers. It also provides statistical data for analysis and insights, essentially aiming to create a Google Maps specifically for real estate.

On Shark Tank, the founder mentioned that Remaps’ website currently holds information on 17.5 million land plots across 21 provinces and cities nationwide. The platform is updating maps based on land-use planning. Since the planning data became available, updates are made within 4 to 8 hours. Users can search for land plots by keywords, view size, planning, prices, get directions, share listings, or post property for sale or rent in just 30 seconds. After 2 years of operation, Remaps has garnered 1.2 million users, with 110,000 registered users.

Remaps successfully secured a deal with Shark Hung Anh on the show.

In 2023, besides enhancing product features, Remaps plans to engage in commercial activities to generate revenue, partially supporting product development costs.

Remaps aims to create a dedicated map for real estate.

Over the next 3-5 years, Remaps envisions becoming the leading information provider in the real estate sector. The company also plans to enter three key market segments: offering tools and services, providing an advertising platform, and participating in the brokerage sector by leveraging technology.

Before founding Remaps, Mr. Le Minh Duc had extensive experience in real estate, specializing in investment analysis, project planning, and monitoring for developers. He also participated in multiple funding rounds, personally investing over 13 billion VND in Remaps.
