Recently, CafeF released the list of the Top 10 steel and construction material companies with the highest tax contributions in Vietnam, part of the PRIVATE 100 and VNTAX 200 series honoring businesses with the largest contributions to the state budget based on actual payments in the 2024 fiscal year.

As a critical sector, steel and construction material (CM) companies are increasingly becoming major contributors to the national economy. The total tax contribution of the Top 10 companies this year exceeded 21 trillion VND, an increase of nearly 6.4 trillion VND, or 43%, compared to the previous year.

Among the standout performers is Hoa Sen Group, which contributed over 1.65 trillion VND in taxes in 2024, a nearly 60% increase from the previous year. Recognized as a leader in the coated steel industry, Hoa Sen Group has solidified its position by expanding its business in steel, plastic pipes, and the Hoa Sen Home Construction Materials & Interior Supermarket system nationwide.

Distinctive Choice: Coated Steel and Hoa Sen Mag Shield Technology

For 24 years, Hoa Sen Group has maintained its leadership in the production and distribution of coated steel in Vietnam and the region. In August 2025, the group successfully produced and launched the first Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium alloy-coated steel coil under the Hoa Sen Mag Shield brand at its Nghe An factory. Manufactured using a state-of-the-art continuous hot-dip galvanizing line, Hoa Sen Mag Shield features a precisely formulated Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium alloy coating. This enhances corrosion resistance and rust prevention by 3–5 times and increases coating hardness by 2 times compared to traditional galvanized steel, meeting stringent technical requirements while ensuring aesthetic appeal.

According to Hoa Sen Group, the product meets international standards such as JIS (Japan), ASTM (USA), BS EN (Europe), and AS (Australia). With superior durability, corrosion resistance, and versatile applications, Hoa Sen Mag Shield is ideal for various projects, including factories, coastal structures, high-tech agricultural greenhouses, solar power system frameworks, transportation infrastructure, and residential and commercial projects. This marks a significant step in the group’s technology innovation strategy, enhancing product quality and reinforcing its leadership in the coated steel industry in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

Within two weeks of the first Hoa Sen Mag Shield coil being produced at the Nghe An factory, the product was made available across the entire Hoa Sen Home supermarket network nationwide, catering to the growing construction demands of the market. Introducing this product across the distribution system is seen as a move to expand the premium steel product line while strengthening the group’s technology innovation and quality enhancement strategy.

Building on this foundation, Hoa Sen showcased its flagship products at the National Achievement Exhibition commemorating the 80th National Day (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025). This event provided an opportunity for the company to highlight its technological innovations, connect directly with visitors nationwide, and reaffirm its pioneering spirit as a national brand.

At the exhibition, three flagship product lines were featured: Hoa Sen Steel, Hoa Sen Steel Pipes, and Hoa Sen Plastic Pipes. Of particular interest was the newly launched Hoa Sen HDPE Plastic Pipe with a 1,200 mm diameter, produced using European Battenfeld-Cincinnati technology in early August 2025. This marks a significant advancement in the group’s strategy to enhance product quality and standards to meet the increasing demands of customers.

Strengthening Position with Hoa Sen Home CM & Interior Supermarket System

Hoa Sen Home, a subsidiary of Hoa Sen Group, operates a network of construction materials and interior supermarkets. Launched in 2021, the system has experienced remarkable growth, now boasting over 126 modern supermarkets and 269 traditional stores, with ongoing expansion plans.

With a transparent sales policy and a commitment to 4Ds—Standard, Quality, Invoice, and Warranty—Hoa Sen Home ensures customer confidence, eliminating concerns about counterfeit or substandard products. Additionally, the system’s robust distribution capabilities, strong financial foundation, and nationwide logistics network provide a significant advantage for future growth and market share expansion.

Business Aligned with Charity and Social Responsibility

Over 24 years of development, alongside its business growth, Hoa Sen Group has made a mark through meaningful charitable initiatives such as Overcoming Yourself, Golden Bell, Loving Leaves, and notably, Vietnamese Family Warmth. After three years of partnership, the program has reached 25 provinces, providing nearly 30 billion VND in support to over 1,000 disadvantaged children, with Hoa Sen directly contributing nearly 15 billion VND.

Each journey with Vietnamese Family Warmth also serves as an opportunity for Hoa Sen Group and the Hoa Sen Home system to bring products closer to customers nationwide. Through mobile showrooms and booths, customers can directly experience and provide feedback, fostering a two-way connection between the company and the community. This reflects Hoa Sen’s philosophy of business development, aiming not only for profit but also to create tangible value for society.
