On September 30th, the People’s Committee of Dien Bien Province, in collaboration with Duc Hai Dien Bien Co., Ltd., held the groundbreaking ceremony for the New Urban Area and Pedestrian Street Project near Muong Thanh Airport. The project boasts a total investment of nearly 700 billion VND.
Spanning approximately 7.6 hectares, the project is strategically located adjacent to Dien Bien Airport and close to renowned historical landmarks such as De Castries Bunker, Muong Thanh Bridge, A1 Hill, the Victory Monument of Dien Bien Phu, and the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum. The development includes 189 adjacent townhouses.

To ensure timely completion, the provincial leadership urged the project developer to maintain stringent management of quality and progress. Additionally, local departments and agencies were instructed to facilitate and support the developer throughout the project’s implementation.
In mid-August, the Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People’s Committee approved the auction results for land use rights, selecting the investor for the New Urban Area and Pedestrian Street Project near Muong Thanh Airport in Dien Bien Phu Ward, Dien Bien Province.
Duc Hai Dien Bien Co., Ltd. was awarded the contract with a winning bid exceeding 153 billion VND.
