According to the published Annual General Meeting (AGM) documents, Thanh Thanh Cong – Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company (AgriS, HOSE: SBT) plans to present seven proposals and three reports to the AGM. Key items include the approval of the business plan and profit distribution scheme, remuneration for the Board of Directors (BOD), registration and listing of bonds, adoption of the 2025-2030 development strategy, and other significant matters.

AgriS reported positive financial results for the 2024-2025 fiscal year to the AGM, with consolidated net revenue reaching VND 28,492 billion, exceeding the plan by 109%. Pre-tax profit stood at VND 950 billion, achieving 106% of the target. Post-tax profit reached VND 834 billion, a 3% increase year-over-year. Sugar sales volume nearly hit 1.4 million tons. Based on these robust profits, the company proposed a dividend distribution plan for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, offering a 6% stock dividend, ensuring consistent annual dividend payments to shareholders.

Notably, AgriS presented its detailed development strategy through 2030 to the AGM. The strategy focuses on implementing the Circular Commercial Value Chain model with five key objectives: (1) Establishing a 3-Center, 3-Service, 1-Multinational Governance System organizational model; (2) Developing multi-dimensional international trade and cooperation; (3) Pursuing sustainable development and enhancing ESG commitments; (4) Building a high-caliber workforce for international trade and markets; (5) Achieving a market capitalization of USD 2.7 billion by 2030.

The 2025-2026 fiscal year is expected to unfold amid a slow global economic recovery, geopolitical instability, shifting trade policies, and a downturn in the sugar industry. AgriS proposed a conservative revenue target of VND 26,500 billion and a pre-tax profit of VND 951 billion, maintaining steady growth compared to the previous year. The company also plans to distribute stock dividends at a rate of 5%-7% of par value.

Growth driven by a robust strategic transformation

2024 marked a pivotal year in AgriS’s development strategy as the company transitioned from a manufacturing enterprise to a high-tech agricultural conglomerate. This shift focuses on building an AgTech (Agricultural Technology) – FoodTech (Food Technology) – FinTech (Financial Technology) ecosystem, grounded in ESG principles. The new model revolves around three core operational centers: the Agriculture Center, Production Center, and Integrated Commercial Center. Each center plays a distinct strategic role, from developing sustainable raw material regions to enhancing processing capabilities and expanding domestic and international distribution networks, thereby creating a cohesive, flexible, and adaptive value chain.

AgriS successfully hosted the AgriS Agro Day 2025 Agriculture Summit on 07-08/08/2025, bringing together top leaders, experts, and scientists to discuss advancements in high-tech agriculture, circular farming, and international integration.

Alongside its restructuring efforts, AgriS is aggressively expanding into the international Food – Beverage – Dairy – Confectionery market. Its product portfolio is developed from regionally distinctive crops such as sugarcane, coconut, banana, rice, and cassava, processed to meet high international quality standards. The company aims for this segment to contribute approximately 40% of total revenue by 2030.

In addition to its flagship sugar products, AgriS has expanded its portfolio to over 200 consumer products derived from value chains of crops like sugarcane, coconut, banana, and rice.

AgriS has recently intensified efforts to streamline its investment portfolio, focusing on core areas. As part of its expansion into food and beverages, the company will ramp up capital raising and M&A activities, increasing ownership in strategic units within its value chain. AgriS has completed the acquisition of over 30% of Betrimex’s shares, a leading processed coconut exporter, with a total target of 40% as previously announced. Additional deals are expected to be disclosed soon.

With this transformative shift, AgriS views the 2025-2026 fiscal year as a critical pivot, bridging the current phase with the next five-year strategic period (2025-2030). The company’s leadership remains committed to enhancing agricultural value chains, developing sustainable, natural nutrition solutions, participating in the global food and beverage supply chain, and achieving a revenue target of VND 60,000 billion by 2030 and Net Zero by 2035.
