Recently, the Management Board of the Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone held a meeting to review the progress of compensation and land clearance for the The Ky, Tan Tap, and Thu Thua Industrial Zone projects.

During the meeting, representatives from relevant units provided detailed reports on the implementation of compensation, resettlement support, and highlighted challenges while proposing solutions to expedite project progress.

The Management Board of the Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone reviews compensation and land clearance progress for The Ky, Tan Tap, and Thu Thua Industrial Zone projects.

Specifically, the The Ky Industrial Zone in Duc Hoa commune, developed by Hai Son Co., Ltd., covers a planned area of over 119 hectares, with approximately 83 hectares designated for industrial use. The project’s compensation and resettlement plan has been approved for nearly 350 households across more than 119 hectares, with a total budget exceeding 1.657 trillion VND.

The Tan Tap Industrial Zone in Tan Tap commune, developed by Long An Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, spans a planned area of 654 hectares, including nearly 482 hectares of industrial land. The project has completed land surveying and parcel mapping and is currently advancing land clearance efforts to prepare for subsequent phases.

The Thu Thua Industrial Zone in Thu Thua commune, developed by Thu Thua – IUH Urban and Industrial Zone Development Joint Stock Company, covers a planned area of 170.7 hectares, with approximately 128 hectares allocated for industrial use. The project received investment approval from the Prime Minister in 2019 and has since been approved for adjustments to its 1/2,000 zoning plan and 1/500 detailed planning.

To date, the project has completed all legal procedures, including environmental impact assessments, fire safety approvals, and investment registration certificates. The Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee has leased land in two phases, totaling approximately 83.7 hectares. The developer has fulfilled financial obligations and obtained land use rights certificates for this area.

Regarding compensation and land clearance, the Thu Thua Industrial Zone has achieved approximately 76% completion, compensating 375 out of 494 households across 134 out of 171 hectares, with nearly 882 billion VND disbursed out of a total 1.169 trillion VND. Currently, 119 cases covering over 36 hectares remain unresolved, including 79 cases that have agreed to compensation plans and 40 cases still pending approval.

Accelerating compensation and land clearance will enable these industrial zone projects to proceed as scheduled, attracting investment, driving industrial growth, creating jobs, and positively contributing to Tay Ninh Province’s socio-economic development.
