The People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has recently issued a decision to reorganize the Land Registration Office under the city’s Department of Agriculture and Environment. This restructuring consolidates the former Land Registration Offices of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, and Ba Ria – Vung Tau into a unified entity.
The Ho Chi Minh City Land Registration Office is headquartered at 12 Phan Dang Luu Street, Gia Dinh Ward, with two additional branches located at 321 Phu Loi Street, Phu Loi Ward, and 1939 National Highway 55, Long Dien Commune.
As a public service unit with legal status, the office operates under its own seal and maintains accounts with both the State Treasury and commercial banks.

The main office of the Ho Chi Minh City Land Registration Office is located at 12 Phan Dang Luu Street, Gia Dinh Ward.
The office is tasked with land registration, issuance of land use right certificates and property ownership certificates, land measurement, cadastral mapping, development and management of the land information system, provision of public land-related services, and support for state management of land within Ho Chi Minh City.
Under the Ho Chi Minh City Land Registration Office, there are 38 branch offices, each operating as a public service unit with its own seal and under the direct management of the Director of the main office.
These branch offices fulfill the functions, duties, and authorities of the main office within their respective designated areas.
Depending on local conditions and practical needs, the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment may propose adjustments to the jurisdictional areas of these branches to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to citizens and businesses.
