As part of the Vietnam International Innovation Expo 2025, the Vietnam Mobility Festival (VMF) 2025 will take place from October 1 to 3, 2025, at the National Innovation Center (NIC) in Hoa Lac. This event promises a unique experience, showcasing Vietnam’s future of green mobility.

VMF 2025 is more than just a conventional car and motorcycle festival; it’s an educational journey toward green transformation tailored for the younger generation. Here, the macro concept of Net Zero 2050 is transformed into tangible, relatable experiences.

VMF 2025 takes place within the framework of VIIE 2025.

Vehicles here are not merely displayed as modes of transport but as the core of a multidimensional ecosystem intertwined with lifestyle, personal finance, technology, and community experiences.

What sets VMF 2025 apart is its focus on green transformation, turning a macro concept into a personal, hands-on experience. Green transformation is no longer a distant strategic goal but a daily narrative—about the vehicles we use to school, commuting costs, city cleanliness, and health protection.

On a national scale, green transformation means economic development with reduced emissions, environmental protection, and achieving Net Zero 2050. For students, it’s about simple choices like opting for electric bikes over gasoline ones, recycling, or saving electricity—small actions that collectively drive significant change.

At VMF 2025, students from 15 universities have the opportunity to directly experience green vehicles, particularly VinFast electric models. These experiences have yielded exciting surprises, including test drives of both electric motorcycles and cars.

Nguyen Tan Dung, a student from the 79th cohort at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, shared his experience with the VinFast Evo NEO. He recently switched to a gasoline motorcycle due to his 40km daily commute, as his previous electric bike could only manage 20-30km.

“After the test drive, I was surprised by the VinFast electric bike’s performance—its speed, feel, and range exceeded my expectations. I’m considering switching back to electric, but since I just bought a gasoline bike, it’s not the right time yet,” Dung said.

The experience of riding as a passenger on an electric bike also offers unique insights. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Linh, a student at the Foreign Trade University who currently uses a gasoline motorcycle and has only ridden electric bicycles, shared her experience with the white Evo model: “I felt the bike was light, safe, and sturdy. It felt protective.” Linh also noted that braking on the electric bike was easier than on her gasoline bike, and the absence of gear shifting was a plus.

The honest feedback from students like Dung and Linh demonstrates that electric vehicles are no longer a distant choice but a practical mobility solution, surpassing common misconceptions about range and performance. VMF 2025 not only offers test drives but also helps young people realize that green transformation begins with everyday decisions.

Beyond test drives, VMF 2025 encourages students to ask questions like, “How does green transformation impact young people?” or “Why is green transformation important?” These questions reflect curiosity and mark the beginning of awareness, from hands-on experiences to deeper exploration.
