On the afternoon of October 2nd, an inter-agency inspection team comprising Quynh Luu Commune People’s Committee, Quynh Luu Commune Police, and Team 4 of the Market Management Bureau conducted a surprise inspection at an animal fat processing facility owned by Ms. Bui Thi Vinh (born in 1966), located in Hong Nguyen Village, Quynh Luu Commune, Nghe An Province.

During the inspection, the team discovered 1.5 tons of animal products, including 500kg of unprocessed animal fat, 700kg of processed fat, and 300kg of fiber byproduct from the fat processing.

All the seized products lacked proper origin documentation and failed to meet food safety standards. The facility owner could not provide any relevant paperwork to verify the products’ sources. Authorities are currently coordinating efforts to destroy the confiscated goods and compile evidence for legal proceedings under food safety regulations.

Moving forward, Team 4 of the Market Management Bureau will continue to adhere to higher directives, strengthen inter-agency collaboration, and focus on inspecting substandard goods, food safety violations, and products of unknown origin that endanger public health. These efforts aim to stabilize the market and protect consumer rights.
