According to the Vietnamese Government’s official portal, Deputy Prime Minister Bùi Thanh Sơn chaired a meeting on October 3rd to prepare for the Autumn Fair 2025, scheduled to take place at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi). The meeting was attended by Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyễn Hồng Diên, along with leaders from central ministries, sectors, and local authorities.

For this event, the Deputy Prime Minister requested that by October 6th, Vingroup and Vietnam Exhibition Corporation (VEC) submit written notifications of any expenses to allow ministries, sectors, and localities to prepare their budgets.

For localities requiring financial support from the central budget beyond their local resources, the Deputy Prime Minister asked them to submit their budget estimates to the Ministry of Industry and Trade by the morning of October 4th.

During the meeting, emphasizing the substantial workload and the tight schedule—with just over three weeks until the opening—the Deputy Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Industry and Trade to incorporate feedback from the Government’s Standing Committee on October 2nd and the meeting’s discussions. The finalized plan for the Autumn Fair 2025 is to be submitted for approval by the Fair’s Steering Committee on October 4th.

Additionally, Deputy Prime Minister Bùi Thanh Sơn directed VEC to urgently finalize the overall design and layout of the exhibition zones, ensuring completion by October 6th. This will serve as the foundation for ministries, sectors, and localities to detail their respective zone designs and unify the fair’s branding.

Localities are to assign liaison officers to coordinate with VEC for site allocation, ensuring completion by October 6th, and to proactively develop design and construction plans immediately.

Ministries, sectors, and localities are to follow the Ministry of Finance’s guidelines in Official Dispatch No. 1592/BTC-QLĐT dated October 2nd, 2025, to independently select contractors for organizing the fair in their assigned zones. VEC will provide technical requirements and support to facilitate the contractors’ work.

As shared during the meeting, Vingroup announced its sponsorship of a comprehensive design package, including detailed designs, branding systems, and zone layouts, along with waiving fees for venue use and utilities such as electricity, water, sanitation, and security.

The Autumn Fair 2025 is scheduled to open at 9 a.m. on Sunday, October 26th. It will occupy the entire Kim Quy Exhibition Center, spanning 100,000 square meters of exhibition space, accommodating up to 3,000 standard booths.

The fair aims to create a centralized trade promotion channel, fostering supply-demand connections, stimulating consumption, boosting production and business activities, expanding imports and exports, and attracting investment. These efforts are geared toward achieving a growth target of over 8% in 2025 and laying a solid foundation for the 2026-2030 period.

At the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed that this will be the largest fair ever held, with the broadest participation from all ministries, sectors, provinces, and the business community, including state-owned, private, and foreign-invested enterprises. It is also expected to be the most distinctive fair in terms of products and goods.

Deputy Prime Minister Bùi Thanh Sơn emphasized that the fair should not merely serve as a platform for product display and promotion but, more importantly, as a venue for commercialization, contract signing, and product sales from all regions across the country.
