Exclusive Footage: Police Raid Tomoken Fire Safety LLC’s Warehouse Uncovering Counterfeit Fire Extinguishers

Two brothers, both directors of Phan Thế Hoài, have been arrested and are under investigation for the alleged production and trade of counterfeit goods.

On October 4th, the Phu Tho Provincial Police Investigation Agency announced the prosecution and temporary detention of Phan The Hoai, Director of Tomoken Vietnam Fire Prevention and Fighting Co., Ltd. (located in Dai An Industrial Zone, Hai Phong), and Phan Bach Thong, Executive Director of the same company (located in Cam Thinh Industrial Cluster, Quang Ninh). They are charged with producing and trading counterfeit goods.

Initial investigation results reveal that from 2023 to present, Tomoken Quang Ninh has sold over 2.2 million fire extinguishers of various types (powder, foam, gas) with a total revenue exceeding 834 billion VND.

Forensic examination by the Ministry of Public Security’s Institute of Criminal Science determined that 16 samples of 6kg portable fire extinguishers and 20 samples of 8kg portable fire extinguishers seized from the company failed to meet national technical standards for Class B fire suppression.
