The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee has launched a high-intensity competition campaign titled “Double the Productivity with Determination” to celebrate the 1st Congress of the City Party Committee and the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The campaign emphasizes widespread implementation through practical and effective measures, aligned with political tasks and tailored to the specific conditions of each agency, unit, and locality. It aims to engage a broad spectrum of participants, including officials, civil servants, employees, workers, citizens, and the business community.

Additionally, the campaign focuses on identifying, commending, and promptly rewarding collectives and individuals who demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and achieve outstanding results. This includes those who introduce innovative models, initiatives, and solutions that significantly enhance efficiency and accelerate progress in key projects and competitions across Ho Chi Minh City.

The campaign commenced at the beginning of October 2025 and will conclude on December 31, divided into two phases.

Phase 1, “Determined Acceleration to Complete Key Projects and Tasks,” focuses on the effective implementation of the 5 competition contents outlined in Plan No. 01/KH-UBND dated July 1, 2025, by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee. This plan aims to celebrate the Party Congresses at all levels and the 1st Congress of the City Party Committee (2025-2030 term). Each agency, unit, and locality is required to identify at least one key project with accelerated progress solutions or at least one outstanding model or task.

Phase 2, “Accelerated Breakthrough to Successfully Achieve 2025 Socio-Economic Development Goals and the 2021-2025 Plan,” continues the effort to successfully meet the 2025 socio-economic development goals and the 5-year plan (2020-2025). Special emphasis is placed on concentrating resources to achieve a 95% public investment capital disbursement rate for 2025 as planned. The goal is to complete 90% of the competition programs, projects, and works on time, with city-level recognition and signage.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee will award certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements, particularly those with innovative models and solutions effectively applied in implementing 2025 socio-economic development tasks and key competition programs, projects, and works of the city during the campaign’s summary event.
