CTCP Ô tô TMT (TMT Motors), a well-known automotive company in Vietnam, has recently rebranded its subsidiary, showcasing its commitment to the electric vehicle (EV) industry. The company, formerly known as TMT Electric Vehicle Charging Station Investment and Business Joint Stock Company, has been renamed VN Egreen Joint Stock Company. This move comes just a month after the establishment of the charging station company, with Mr. Bui Van Huu at the helm as Chairman of the Board of both TMT Motors and VN Egreen.

VN Egreen has a chartered capital of VND 100 billion and focuses on EV charging stations, electric batteries, three-wheeled electric vehicles, and electric vehicle parts. This strategic shift highlights TMT Motors’ ambition to make a significant impact in the EV market.

TMT Motors, with its roots in commercial vehicle production and trading, has built a strong reputation for its heavy-load trucks, including the renowned Cuu Long, Tata, Howo, and Sinotruk brands. Now, the company is making waves in the EV space by manufacturing, assembling, and distributing the popular Chinese electric car, Wuling Hongguang MiniEV, in Vietnam. These compact electric cars are set to compete directly with VinFast VF3, the brainchild of billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong.
