Sun Group’s Core Company Reports 241 Billion VND Profit in First Half of the Year

According to the information disclosed at the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), as of June 30, 2025, the equity of Sun Group Corporation (CTCP Tập đoàn Mặt Trời) reached over 15,286 billion VND. Of this, undistributed after-tax profit stood at nearly 2,568 billion VND, a 15% increase compared to the previous period, providing a significant internal accumulation of resources.

In terms of capital structure, the debt-to-total-assets ratio was 0.71, while the debt-to-equity ratio was 2.49. The issuance of bonds during the period aimed to invest in and develop promising profit-generating projects. Both principal and interest payments were made on time to bondholders.

The report from Sun Group Corporation highlights a significant improvement in liquidity. The current ratio reached 1.64, up from 1.47 in the same period last year. The interest coverage ratio remained stable at 1.37.

Regarding business performance, in the first six months of 2025, the company recorded a profit with after-tax earnings of 241 billion VND. As a result, the return on equity (ROE) reached 1.69%, a substantial improvement compared to the same period last year, while the return on assets (ROA) stood at 0.5%.
