Sundiro Honda, a leading joint venture in China’s 125cc scooter segment, maintains its dominance through a diverse product lineup, competitive pricing, and modern features.

Recently, the company strengthened its position by unveiling the all-new 2025 NS125U, reminiscent of the beloved Honda Spacy. With a starting price of just 7,580 RMB (approximately $1,050 USD) and topping out at 8,880 RMB ($1,220 USD), the NS125U is poised to attract a wide range of customers.

Notably, Sundiro Honda offers multiple variants to cater to diverse needs. The base model with drum brakes starts at 7,580 RMB ($1,050 USD).

For an additional 400 RMB ($55 USD), buyers can opt for a convenient under-seat storage compartment. The CBS variant, offering enhanced braking safety, is priced at 8,180 RMB ($1,130 USD), or 8,380 RMB ($1,160 USD) with the storage compartment included.

The top-tier ABS model, equipped with advanced anti-lock braking, retails for 8,880 RMB ($1,220 USD), positioning the NS125U as a formidable competitor, even undercutting the Honda Vision in Vietnam.

Powering the NS125U is Honda’s eSP 125cc air-cooled engine, delivering a maximum output of 9.38 hp and 10 Nm of torque—slightly surpassing the Vision. With a top speed of 90 km/h, it’s ideal for daily commutes and short weekend trips.

The ACG starter ensures nearly silent engine starts, while fuel efficiency is a standout feature, with a claimed consumption of just 1.9 L/100 km.

Its 5.7-liter fuel tank enables a range of over 200 km on a full tank. The PGM-Fi fuel injection system and Honda’s stringent quality control ensure stable performance, with the scooter expected to last 3–5 years without major repairs.

In terms of practicality, the NS125U is a versatile scooter with a flat, wide 430 mm footboard, offering both comfort and cargo capacity. The under-seat compartment accommodates a 3/4 helmet, rain gear, and personal items. Additional features include a front storage compartment and a 20W fast-charging port, enhancing urban mobility convenience.

With overall dimensions of 1,890 mm in length, a weight of 105 kg, and a seat height of 740 mm, the NS125U is easy to handle, even for riders around 1.6 meters tall. This makes it an excellent choice for beginners and female riders. Despite featuring a traditional analog gauge and mechanical key, the NS125U is highly regarded for its durability, low maintenance costs, and Honda’s trusted reliability.

Offering competitive pricing, a compact design, and robust performance, the 2025 Sundiro Honda NS125U is set to become the new “national scooter,” further solidifying the joint venture’s leadership in China’s motorcycle market.
