Units must execute assigned tasks and duties, ensuring timely completion, quality, and efficiency.

The announcement emphasizes that to ensure the successful and high-quality organization of the Trade Fair as directed by the Prime Minister, all units are required to focus on implementing their assigned tasks and duties, ensuring timely completion, quality, and efficiency.

Specifically, the Steering Committee requests relevant ministries, agencies, localities, and units to expedite the implementation of assigned tasks and duties, ensuring quality and progress. They should refer to the Ministry of Finance’s guidelines (Document No. 15292/BTC-QLĐT) to proactively select contractors for executing tasks in their assigned zones.

The Hanoi People’s Committee is to coordinate with Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Centre (VEFAC) to finalize plans for ensuring absolute security, order, safety, fire prevention, environmental hygiene, healthcare, and food safety. The committee must specify the responsible unit, contact person, and hotline details by October 10.

Localities are urged to contact VEFAC to receive their allocated space no later than October 6. They should also proactively develop design, staging, and construction plans for the “Essence of Vietnamese Autumn” zone.

The Autumn Trade Fair 2025 is scheduled to take place from October 20 to November 5 at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre (Dong Anh, Hanoi).

Urgent Completion of the Autumn Trade Fair 2025 Plan

In the same announcement, the Steering Committee directs the Ministry of Industry and Trade to fully incorporate feedback from the Government Office and delegates at the October 2 meeting. They must urgently finalize the Autumn Trade Fair 2025 Plan and submit it to the Head of the Steering Committee for review and approval.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade is to collaborate closely with VEFAC to develop and finalize the overall design, zoning, and layout of the Trade Fair, ensuring quality, progress, and legal compliance. The Ministry is also responsible for reviewing and approving the overall design and zoning as per its authority.

Additionally, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in collaboration with VEFAC, must notify all additional costs (if any) to ministries, sectors, and localities for budget planning. They should also supervise agencies and units to ensure construction timelines align with each unit’s workload.

The Ministry of Finance, based on the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s consolidated report and funding requests (if any), must urgently submit a report to the competent authority for approval by October 10, in compliance with state budget laws and related regulations. This ensures cost-effectiveness, prevents waste, and aligns with the state budget’s capacity.

Finalize Zone Designs and Unify the Trade Fair’s Visual Identity

The Steering Committee also requests the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Hanoi People’s Committee, and Vietnam Television to agree on the duration and script for the Closing Ceremony. They should report to the Head of the Steering Committee for submission to the Prime Minister. The Ministry must also collaborate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to provide information to media outlets before, during, and after the Trade Fair (press conference to be held 10 days prior).

Vingroup and VEFAC must swiftly complete the overall design and layout of all zones to enable ministries, sectors, and localities to finalize individual zone designs and unify the Trade Fair’s visual identity.

Both entities must thoroughly review and prepare infrastructure to facilitate contractors’ staging and Trade Fair activities. They should guide and support contractors, provide technical specifications to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and relevant agencies for infrastructure management during the Trade Fair.

Vingroup and VEFAC must also work closely with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and other agencies to resolve organizational issues, ensuring a positive experience for attendees and visitors.

The announcement underscores the significance of this event as Vietnam’s first large-scale Trade Fair, featuring approximately 3,000 booths at the largest and most modern exhibition center (covering about 100,000 m²).

The Trade Fair will bring together the largest number of participants, including 34 provinces, ministries, sectors, corporations, private enterprises, and domestic and international businesses.

Thus, organizing the Autumn Trade Fair 2025 on such a large scale is essential. It will serve as a concentrated trade promotion channel to stimulate consumption, boost production, expand imports and exports, attract businesses and consumers, and significantly contribute to achieving the 2025 economic growth target of over 8%.

Units should explore making this Trade Fair an annual event. The Ministry of Industry and Trade should continue developing plans for Summer and Spring Trade Fairs, aiming not only for national prominence but also for regional and international recognition.

The Autumn Trade Fair 2025 is scheduled from October 20 to November 5 at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre (Dong Anh, Hanoi), one of the world’s top 10 largest exhibition complexes and the largest in Southeast Asia. It also successfully hosted the National Achievements Exhibition on the 80th National Day.
