Gemadept Successfully Completes Issuance of Over 6.3 Million Shares to 101 Employees

Gemadept Corporation (Stock Code: GMD, HoSE) has officially reported the results of its Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) share issuance.

As of the issuance closure on October 2, 2025, Gemadept successfully allocated over 6.3 million shares to 101 employees. The share transfer is scheduled for October to November 2025.

Under the plan, Gemadept offered these shares to high-performing employees from 2024 at a price of VND 10,000 per share, aiming to raise over VND 63 billion to enhance the company’s working capital.

The shares will be locked (restricted from transfer) for 2 years post-issuance. In the third year, 50% of the shares will be unlocked, with the remaining 50% released in the fourth year.

Post-issuance, Gemadept’s outstanding shares increased from nearly 420.2 million to approximately 426.5 million, raising its charter capital from over VND 4,201.9 billion to nearly VND 4,265 billion.

According to Gemadept’s insider trading list, Chairman Mr. Do Van Nhan and Vice Chairman Mr. Chu Duc Khang acquired the highest number of shares, with 102,000 shares each.

In other developments, Gemadept previously announced a resolution to invest and change capital representation at ICD Nam Hai Joint Stock Company.

Gemadept will acquire an additional 8 million common shares from ICD Nam Hai, valued at VND 80 billion.

Upon completion, Gemadept will hold 15.8 million common shares, equivalent to VND 158 billion, representing 79% of ICD Nam Hai’s charter capital.

Established in June 2025, ICD Nam Hai specializes in warehousing and cargo storage, headquartered at Lot CN3, Dinh Vu Industrial Park, Dong Hai Ward, Hai Phong City.

Financially, Gemadept’s 2025 H1 consolidated reviewed report showed a net revenue of nearly VND 2,770.7 billion, up 28.5% year-on-year, with a post-tax profit of approximately VND 1,131.8 billion, a modest 2.8% increase.

As of June 30, 2025, Gemadept’s total assets rose 6% to nearly VND 19,086 billion, while total liabilities increased 25.6% to approximately VND 5,308 billion.
