The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City is collaborating to implement a 90-day campaign aimed at enriching and cleansing the national land database, as per the plan outlined by the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.

Ho Chi Minh City is executing a 90-day campaign to enrich and cleanse the national land database.
Accordingly, the land database of Ho Chi Minh City has been interconnected and shared, enabling local agencies to receive and process land-related administrative procedures.
Simultaneously, it is being connected and shared with tax authorities (implementing electronic tax linkage) and the national population database to facilitate residence registration.
To date, the database of the Ho Chi Minh City Land Registration Office has been synchronized with the national database, covering a total of 1,235,067 land plots (42 out of 168 wards, communes, and special zones). Currently, a review and classification of land plots into 3 groups is underway, encompassing nearly 2.5 million plots.
Functional units are also verifying the information of land users and property owners against the existing database and the national population database.
The Ho Chi Minh City Land Registration Office has forwarded the details of 3.2 million land users and property owners from its database to the Ministry of Public Security for cross-referencing with the national population database.
Additionally, the office has submitted information on 800,000 land users with incomplete data to the Department of Administrative and Social Order Management, Ho Chi Minh City Police, for review and supplementation.
