Located in Bình Trưng Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, this project connects The Global City urban area with Mai Chí Thọ – Võ Nguyên Giáp Boulevard. The 660-meter road, designed for speeds up to 60 km/h and a single-axle load of 10 tons, features a 60-meter width.

Lien Phuong Road (Ho Chi Minh City)

As reported by VTC News, in late October, contractors intensified efforts with machinery and workers to finalize the road’s remaining sections.

Lien Phuong Bridge is nearly complete, featuring asphalt paving, lane markings, guardrails, and lighting, ready for operation.

Adjacent to the bridge, supporting infrastructure like sidewalks, greenery, drainage, and access roads are being expedited for synchronized completion.

The pedestrian staircase to Lien Phuong Bridge is nearing completion, preparing for handover and operation.

Access points to Lien Phuong Road, connecting Mai Chí Thọ and Võ Nguyên Giáp (former An Phú Ward, Thu Duc City), are complete and ready for use.

The most scenic section within The Global City features six completed lanes, paved sidewalks, greenery, and a well-maintained landscape.

Currently an internal road within The Global City, Lien Phuong Road will reduce travel by 4 km from Cat Lai Junction to Lien Phuong – Do Xuan Hop Intersection, enhancing safety by avoiding heavy truck routes.

The 2.5-km Lien Phuong Road, from Do Xuan Hop to Bung Ong Thoan, faces a 250-meter bottleneck near Do Xuan Hop, delaying the project due to land overlap with Coopimex’s residential area.

Amid ongoing construction, major real estate developers are launching projects along Lien Phuong Road, anticipating Eastern HCMC’s infrastructure growth.

Luxury apartments and villas, including The Global City, Safira Khang Điền, Verosa, Sky 9, The Eastern, and Dong Tang Long, are rapidly developing along Lien Phuong Road.

As a key transportation artery in Eastern HCMC, Lien Phuong Road is closely monitored by the city, urging developers to meet commitments and accelerate construction for integrated infrastructure and traffic relief.
