According to MWG‘s explanation, the significant profit growth is attributed to the 15% revenue increase in The Gioi Di Dong and Dien May Xanh chains during the first 9 months, despite a decrease in the number of stores compared to the same period last year. These two chains are the main pillars of the group’s profit structure.
Additionally, the Bach Hoa Xanh chain continued to improve its profit in Q3/2025 compared to Q2. MWG stated that this positive result is due to the sustained growth in revenue from the food supermarket chain, controlled shrinkage, and enhanced operational efficiency.
Other chains, including An Khang, Avakids, and Erablue, also showed improved operational results, contributing to the overall profit growth of the group.
Furthermore, a significant driver of MWG‘s profit comes from non-retail business activities. In Q3 this year, the group recorded financial revenue of VND 809 billion, a 41% increase compared to the same period last year.
