According to Forbes’ real-time rankings, as of October 29th, billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao’s net worth reached $4.6 billion, a $240 million increase (approximately 6.3 trillion VND), ranking her 878th globally.

During the morning trading session on October 30th (updated at 10:44 AM), Vietjet Aviation JSC’s VJC shares surged to a historic high of 201,000 VND per share. Later, the stock cooled down to around 198,000 VND per share.

A series of consecutive price increases propelled Vietjet’s market capitalization to nearly 119 trillion VND, almost double its value at the beginning of the year.

Not only VJC, but also HDB shares of Ho Chi Minh City Development Commercial Joint Stock Bank (HDBank), where billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao serves as Vice Chairwoman of the Board, saw a strong upward trend, trading at around 34,000 VND per share, the highest level ever recorded.

Alongside the stock surge, billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao’s wealth also accelerated rapidly.

Specifically, during the morning session on October 30th, she added nearly 1.5 trillion VND to her fortune.
