While prices for many older iPhone models have unexpectedly surged, the iPhone 16e is bucking the trend with widespread price cuts from Apple retailers.
This smartphone was introduced to consumers in February 2025. After more than six months on the market, the 128GB version is now priced at 14.9 million VND, the lowest since its launch. Compared to late Q3 2025, the iPhone 16e has dropped by 500,000 VND. Against its original retail price, it’s now 2.1 million VND cheaper.
Despite the increasingly attractive pricing, the iPhone 16e struggles to boost sales. Retailers report that it lacks appeal among Vietnamese users, who favor the iPhone 15 in the same price range for its premium design, reliable performance, and stronger brand recognition.
