On the afternoon of November 16, the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo’s decision regarding personnel appointments for the position of Deputy Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
According to Decision No. 2523-QĐNS/TW dated November 14, 2025, issued by the Party Central Committee, Mr. Le Van Luong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Lai Chau Province, is relieved from his duties in the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and as Deputy Secretary of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. He is reassigned to join the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and appointed as Deputy Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Addressing the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission Nguyen Quang Duong congratulated Mr. Le Van Luong on his new assignment, reflecting the trust placed in him by the Central Committee. He expressed confidence that Mr. Luong would leverage his experience, leadership, and qualities to work alongside the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee in successfully fulfilling the tasks assigned by the Central Committee.
The Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission urged the leadership of Dien Bien Province to foster unity and support Mr. Le Van Luong in quickly adapting to his new role, utilizing his strengths to contribute to the province’s successful implementation of the goals set by the 15th Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
In his acceptance speech, newly appointed Deputy Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee Le Van Luong expressed gratitude for the trust of the Central Committee and the support from the Party Executive Committees of both Dien Bien and Lai Chau Provinces.
He pledged to dedicate his utmost efforts, working alongside the Party Executive Committee and Standing Committee to concretize the objectives and resolutions of the Provincial Party Congress, ensuring Dien Bien’s continued robust development.
Mr. Le Van Luong was born on August 28, 1968, in Ninh Binh Province. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a Master’s degree in Economic Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He joined the Party on March 18, 1994.
Mr. Luong has held several key positions, including Chairman of the People’s Committee of Than Uyen Commune, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Tan Uyen Commune; Deputy Chief of Staff, Chief of Staff of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee; Head of the Inspection Commission of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee; and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee. In 2023, he was elected Chairman of the Lai Chau Provincial People’s Committee./.
