Binh Goi Bridge is part of Package XL4 under Component 5 of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project, which began construction in late 2023.

The total investment for Binh Goi Bridge is nearly 600 billion VND.
In late September 2025, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh inspected and urged the acceleration of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project, including Binh Goi Bridge and Tan Van Intersection.
Deputy Prime Minister emphasized: “The goal is to complete the entire route by the end of this year to hold the inauguration ceremony on December 19, 2025. The government has launched a ‘100-day, 3-shift, 4-team’ competition to expedite progress. Remaining components will continue to be completed after the inauguration.”
