The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction has recently announced details about the Phuc Dat Tan Uyen Social Housing Project, part of the Phuc Dat Commercial Housing Complex in Tan Hiep Ward.
The provisional price set by the developer starts at 22 million VND per square meter, inclusive of 5% VAT but excluding maintenance fees. The apartments range in size from 32 to 62 square meters, with the lowest-priced unit starting at approximately 700 million VND and the highest nearing 1.3 billion VND.
The project comprises three 18-story residential towers, one basement, and a 3-story connecting block (A and B), totaling 936 apartments. Expected to be completed by June 2027, the project has a construction density of 37.51% on a 11,440.8 square meter plot. It features integrated amenities such as a kindergarten, community center, infinity pool, garden, gym, and shopping center.
Prospective buyers can submit their applications within an 11-day window, from November 27 to December 7. The project is developed by Phuc Dat Production and Trading Company Limited.
Previously, in late October, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction also released details about the An Sinh Social Housing Area (Phase 1) within the Chanh My Eco-Urban Project in Chanh Hiep Ward. The project includes six 12-story buildings with 978 apartments, of which 810 are social housing units (648 for sale and 162 for rent).
In Phase 1, HUD plans to launch 273 apartments in towers A4, A5, and C, ranging from 38.5 to 70 square meters. The provisional price is over 15.8 million VND per square meter of net floor area, excluding VAT and maintenance fees. The expected rental price is 76,000 VND per square meter per month during the same phase. Applications will be accepted from November 20 to 25.
Under the plan to develop at least 1 million social housing units by 2030, before the merger, Ho Chi Minh City was tasked with completing 69,700 units. Post-merger, this target has increased to nearly 200,000 units. Currently, the city is implementing over 11,600 units, preparing to start construction on 5,300 units, and has approved investment for 24,600 units, indicating a continued boost in new supply in the coming period.
