The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction has announced details of the Phuc Dat Tan Uyen high-rise social housing project, part of the Phuc Dat commercial housing complex in Tan Hiep Ward. Developed by Phuc Dat Manufacturing and Trading LLC, the project features three 18-story apartment blocks, totaling 936 units, with completion expected by June 2027. The provisional price is set at VND 22 million per square meter, inclusive of 5% VAT but excluding maintenance fees.

Units range from 32 to 62 square meters, with prices starting from over VND 700 million to nearly VND 1.4 billion. Registration opens from November 27 to December 7, 2025.

In October, the department also announced the An Sinh social housing zone within the first phase of the Chanh My Eco-Urban Area, developed by the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUD). This project will offer 273 units at a provisional price of over VND 15.8 million per square meter, with rentals at VND 76,000 per square meter per month (excluding VAT and maintenance fees). Registration begins on November 20 and ends on November 25, 2025.

Spanning over 7,142 square meters in Chanh Hiep Ward, the project includes 12-story buildings, six residential blocks, 168 commercial units, 810 social housing units, and 648 units for sale alongside 162 rental units.

The Hoa Phu Social Housing Project (K Home New City) opened sales from October 31 to November 10, 2025, at a provisional price of VND 16.6 million per square meter (inclusive of VAT). Located in Binh Duong Ward and developed by Nam Kim Industrial Construction Investment JSC (Kim Oanh Group), the project covers nearly 26.7 hectares, featuring 1,376 adjacent social housing units and 1,654 apartment units.

Sonadezi Chau Duc launched 210 units in the Huu Phuoc Residential Area, priced between VND 12.4 and 14.2 million per square meter.

According to the Ministry of Construction, Ho Chi Minh City aims to integrate social housing development targets into its socio-economic plans across two phases. From 2021 to 2025, the city targets 18,143 units, with 5,103 already completed and 13,040 planned for 2025. For 2026–2030, the goal is 181,257 units, averaging 25,300 units annually: 25,300 in 2026, over 31,800 in 2027, over 37,300 in 2028, over 42,800 in 2029, and nearly 43,400 in 2030.
