The Hanoi People’s Committee has issued Decision No. 5559/QD-UBND approving the investment project for the construction of technical infrastructure and several public facilities within the Cultural Park, Entertainment, and Sports Area in Ha Dong.
The project is managed by the Project Management Board for the Investment and Construction of Technical Infrastructure and Agriculture in Hanoi, located in Kien Hung Ward.
The goal is to develop a green park combined with sports, cultural, and recreational facilities. The project will create a vibrant space for cultural activities, sports, and entertainment for the city and Kien Hung Ward residents.
Currently, the project site is fenced off, with overgrown vegetation inside.
Outside the fence, temporary food stalls have been set up by locals, and several areas have become dumping grounds for waste and scrap materials.
The technical infrastructure components of the project include: Land leveling for the entire park; a balancing lake; internal roads; parking areas; playgrounds (picnic areas, health exercise areas, outdoor exhibition spaces, recreational areas, children’s play areas, island play areas, and firefighting water collection points); open park fencing; greenery; medium and low-voltage power systems and communication networks; water supply and drainage systems; and firefighting systems.
The project scope includes land clearance and the complete development of technical infrastructure: Land leveling, lake dredging, water supply, electricity supply, communication networks, rainwater drainage, wastewater drainage, perimeter fencing, and public facilities to serve residents and enhance the park’s appeal.
The park’s diverse services upon completion will contribute to improving the living environment, enhancing the climate, and promoting the physical and mental well-being of residents. The project is designed to harmonize with the landscape architecture, technical infrastructure, transportation, and urban planning of the area.
