Recently, Hai Phong city leaders conducted on-site inspections and held meetings to review the progress of land clearance and investment for several industrial zone projects. These include the Tien Lang Airport Industrial Zone (Zone B) in Chan Hung commune, the Tran Duong – Hoa Binh Industrial Zone (Zone A) in Nguyen Binh Khiem commune, and the Tien Thanh Industrial Zone spanning Tien Lang and Tan Minh communes.

Following the inspections and reports from relevant units, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Le Trung Kien emphasized the critical role of these three projects in driving local and city socioeconomic development.

The Vice Chairman directed local authorities to actively collaborate with departments, agencies, and related units to expedite land clearance and project implementation, ensuring adherence to schedules and plans. He urged the issuance of specific resolutions for land clearance tasks in these industrial zones, emphasizing flexible and effective communication strategies to accelerate the process. Accurate dissemination of updated land price information is also crucial to prevent public hesitation.

For the Tien Lang Airport Industrial Zone (Zone B) infrastructure development and business project, the Vice Chairman instructed the investor to complete necessary procedures for groundbreaking on December 19, 2025. Chan Hung commune’s People’s Committee is tasked with handing over 50 hectares of cleared land by December 30, 2025, and submitting a resettlement area plan within the next week to facilitate land clearance.

The Tien Lang Airport Industrial Zone (Zone B) project, covering 186.49 hectares in Chan Hung commune, is led by C.E.O Industrial Park Development JSC with a total investment of over VND 2,795 billion. Land clearance has been delayed due to resident disagreements and the absence of a resettlement plan.

Regarding the Tran Duong – Hoa Binh Industrial Zone (Zone A) in Nguyen Binh Khiem commune, the Vice Chairman urged local authorities to approve land prices by November and complete land handover by January 30, 2026, aiming for a groundbreaking ceremony during the Bính Ngọ Spring Festival in 2026. This 207.95-hectare project, with a total investment exceeding VND 3,259 billion, is developed by Titan Hai Phong JSC.

The Vice Chairman also called on the investor of the Tien Thanh Industrial Zone project to accelerate implementation in line with the approved schedule. This 410.46-hectare project, spanning Tien Lang and Tan Minh communes, has a total investment of over VND 4,597 billion. To date, 119.56 hectares have been cleared and handed over to the investor, with 2.5 hectares already leveled for technical infrastructure construction.
