In response to the severe damage caused by the consecutive storms and floods in Central Vietnam, the Thien Tam Fund (under Vingroup) has officially activated an emergency support package with the highest reconstruction allowance of up to 100 million VND. The fund has also announced an online registration link to minimize verification and disbursement time.
Immediately after the policy announcement, Thien Tam Fund representatives confirmed the completion of the first disbursement phase, totaling over 1.1 billion VND to 19 households whose homes were completely destroyed in Thua Thien Hue and Da Nang. The fund is currently expanding its assessment to other provinces affected by storms numbered 10 to 13.

To ensure swift and accurate aid distribution, Thien Tam Fund encourages affected individuals or their relatives to register directly through the fund’s online portal.
Note: Alongside online registration, residents must report their information to the local Fatherland Front for cross-verification and confirmation.
Details of the Three Financial Support Tiers
Under the newly announced mechanism, Thien Tam Fund categorizes support levels based on the extent of human and property damage, with specific criteria:
First, for human casualties: A support level of 100 million VND per person is applied to families with members who have died or gone missing due to storms and floods.
Second, for completely destroyed homes: A fixed support level of 60 million VND per household is provided, regardless of circumstances.
Third, for homes with 50% or more damage: A support level of 20 million VND per household is offered, prioritizing vulnerable groups such as low-income households, families of war veterans, elderly individuals living alone, single mothers with young children, households with members suffering from severe illnesses, disabilities, Agent Orange victims (F1), or orphaned children under 16.
Regarding the process, fund representatives emphasize that upon receiving data from online forms and local authorities, fund personnel will conduct independent on-site assessments before directly handing cash to beneficiaries.
Thien Tam Fund is a non-profit organization under Vingroup, established in 2006. Unlike typical charitable funds, all operational costs are covered by Vingroup and its leaders, ensuring that 100% of donated funds reach those in need and community projects.
