Emergency Relief Fund of VND 80 Billion Allocated to Four Flood-Stricken Provinces

The Central Relief Mobilization Committee has allocated 80 billion VND to support the provinces of Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, and Gia Lai. This comes as part of a broader effort, with the total resources mobilized across the entire Front system surpassing 2.8 trillion VND to aid communities affected by natural disasters.

On November 22, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee allocated VND 80 billion to four provinces: Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, and Gia Lai. Each province received VND 20 billion to recover from recent flood damage. These funds were donated by people nationwide through the committee’s account, aiming to directly support residents in stabilizing their livelihoods and production.

As of 12:00 PM on November 22, the Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels had received over VND 2.8 trillion in community donations for disaster relief. The Central Relief Mobilization Committee alone recorded pledges exceeding VND 1.4 trillion in cash and goods.

Of this amount, VND 618.5 billion was pledged through the Central Committee but directly implemented by local units. Vingroup contributed the largest share—VND 500 billion via the Thien Tam Foundation. Other major donors included Hanoi (VND 100 billion), Can Tho (VND 2.5 billion), Ecopark (VND 10 billion), Samsung Vietnam (VND 5 billion), and Honda Vietnam (VND 1 billion).

The Autumn Fair, held in Hanoi from October 26 to November 4, 2025, served as another key fundraising hub, securing VND 112.6 billion in pledges from businesses, organizations, and individuals.

Additionally, agencies, organizations, businesses, and individuals contributed over VND 701 billion through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee.

From the collected funds, the committee executed nine allocation rounds, distributing VND 678.2 billion to 23 severely affected localities. Additionally, units and localities directly transferred VND 118.5 billion in support.

The swift allocation aims to stabilize residents’ lives in disaster-stricken areas, restore essential infrastructure, and revive production post-flooding.
