On November 24th, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, alongside representatives from various central ministries and the Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, Le Van Han, inspected the progress of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project segment passing through Tay Ninh province.

The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 section through Tay Ninh province spans 6.8 kilometers, comprising two sub-projects: construction investment and land clearance, compensation, and resettlement.
To date, the project has been executed with three main packages, ensuring the required progress with a construction value exceeding 87%. It is expected to temporarily open the expressway section on December 19th and officially open the entire route in March 2026.
During the inspection, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh commended the contractors for their efforts in overcoming challenges and acknowledged Tay Ninh province’s support throughout the project’s implementation.
He also directed the construction units to mobilize manpower, machinery, and equipment, working in “three shifts and four teams” to ensure the technical opening on December 19th, in celebration of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The Ring Road 3 project through Tay Ninh began in June 2023. It starts at the boundary between Ho Chi Minh City and Tay Ninh and ends at the My Yen intersection, connecting the Ben Luc – Long Thanh Expressway and the Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong Expressway. The total investment for the project is 4,208 billion VND.

Scheduled for December 2025, the Binh Goi Bridge spanning the Saigon River is set to open for technical traffic. This critical infrastructure is a key component of Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 3 project.
