The stock market is currently in an accumulation phase, with average liquidity hovering around 20.3 trillion VND per session. Investor sentiment remains cautious and fragmented. However, amidst this subdued backdrop, HID shares have staged a remarkable rally.

Price Movement of HID Stock

On November 26th’s trading session, HID shares continued their upward trajectory, reaching 7,400 VND after four consecutive ceiling sessions. Since November 11th, the stock has hit the ceiling nine times. Compared to its late September price of around 3,000 VND, the stock has surged approximately 150% in less than two months, marking its highest level in three years.

Alongside price movements, HID’s liquidity has exploded. From just tens of thousands of units traded per session, the stock now consistently sees over one million units matched. On November 25th, trading volume exceeded 4.3 million shares.

According to Halcom Vietnam’s leadership on November 18th, the primary driver is the company’s Q2 FY2025 results (ending September 30, 2025).

Consolidated revenue for the period reached 209 billion VND, a 2.2-fold increase year-on-year; post-tax profit surpassed 59 billion VND—15 times higher than the same period last year. This marks the second-highest quarterly profit in the company’s history (after 72 billion VND in Q4 2020).

For the first six months of FY2025, net revenue totaled 330 billion VND, up 94% year-on-year. Post-tax profit nearly reached 25 billion VND, a significant improvement from the nearly 17 billion VND loss in the same period last year. The company asserts that all stock price movements adhere to natural supply-demand dynamics.

Halcom Vietnam focuses on water supply and renewable energy. Key projects include the Thuan Thanh Water Plant (Bac Ninh), the Phuong Mai 3 Wind Power Plant (21 MW), and the Hau Giang Solar Power Project (35 MWp).

However, the stock’s rapid 100%+ surge in a short period also heightens profit-taking risks, especially as the broader market remains in an accumulation phase.
