National Assembly Debates Amendments to National Master Plan Today

This morning, the National Assembly convened in the main hall to deliberate on the amended Planning Law and the adjustments to the National Master Plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision extending to 2050.

According to the National Assembly’s schedule, this morning, November 28, the National Assembly will discuss in the main hall the amended Planning Law Project and the adjustment of the National General Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision toward 2050.

The Minister of Finance will provide explanations and clarifications on issues raised by National Assembly delegates.

In the afternoon, the National Assembly will discuss in the main hall the draft Law amending and supplementing several articles of the Urban and Rural Planning Law. The Minister of Construction will provide explanations and clarifications on issues raised by National Assembly delegates.

According to the Ministry of Construction, the draft Law amending and supplementing several articles of the Urban and Rural Planning Law aims to improve the legal framework for urban and rural planning, aligning it with the Party and State’s policies on innovating legal development, reorganizing the political system’s apparatus, and implementing a two-tier local government structure.

The draft law also enhances decentralization, simplifies administrative procedures, improves the investment and business environment, fosters private economic development, and meets the demands of scientific and technological advancement, innovation, digital transformation, while ensuring the consistency and coherence of the legal system./.
