On November 30th, the Tan Hung Ward Police in Ho Chi Minh City detained Bui Thi Thanh Thuy, a 28-year-old woman from Gia Lai province, on charges of theft.

According to the investigation, on the afternoon of November 25th, Cao Thi Hong reported to the Tan Hung Ward Police that her credit card had been stolen. Upon checking with the bank, she discovered that someone had used her card at a phone store on Nguyen Thi Thap Street on November 5th, spending over 27 million VND.
After launching an investigation and reviewing multiple surveillance cameras, the police identified Thuy as a suspect and brought her in for questioning.
At the police station, Thuy admitted to finding a credit card and using it to purchase a phone and headphones. She later sold the phone to another store for 24 million VND.

The Tan Hung Ward Police advise citizens to safeguard their cards, avoid lending them to others or exposing their information, and regularly monitor their accounts to promptly report any suspicious activity.
Previously, representatives from the Tan My Ward Police in Ho Chi Minh City announced the detention of a man (approximately 40 years old) for theft.
According to the investigation, on November 25th, Cao Ngoc Bao Anh, an 18-year-old resident of the Docklands apartment complex on Nguyen Thi Thap Street in Tan My Ward, reported to the local police that her Dell laptop had been stolen from in front of the complex.
The Tan My Ward Police, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Police, apprehended the suspect within just 2 hours.
