Discover the strategic location of the Saigon River ports, a key development in Ho Chi Minh City’s infrastructure planning.

According to the approved master plan, the area along the Saigon River, adjacent to the HCMC Ring Road 4 in Tay Nam and Phu An wards, will host four major ports.

Explore the detailed layout of the Saigon River ports, designed to enhance regional connectivity and trade.

In Tay Nam Ward, three ports are planned: An Tay Port (100 ha, 2025-2030), Rach Bap Port (8.51 ha, 2027-2040), and An Dien Port (7.5 ha, 2027-2040).

Phu An Ward will host the Cai Lang Inland Port (2.6 ha, 2027-2040), further boosting local logistics capabilities.

All port projects will undergo open bidding to select investors. Notably, An Tay Port, the largest, has attracted over VND 5.6 trillion in investment.

An Tay Port is projected to handle 7 million tons of cargo annually and serve 100,000 passengers per year, with a target of 200,000 passengers.

Before administrative consolidation, the former Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee approved the Saigon River Urban Development Zone along Ring Road 4 – Zone 1. Satellite image: Proposed An Tay Port area.

The urban development zone spans approximately 2,702 ha, bordered by Thanh An Commune to the north, the Saigon River to the south and west, and DH.609, DT.744, and DT.748 roads to the east.
