As planned, the assembly focuses on finalizing the 2023-2028 term’s personnel structure by dismissing and electing additional members to the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board—a pivotal move during this ownership transition phase.

Meeting documents highlight Mr. Nguyễn Trọng Trung as the most notable candidate for the Board of Directors. Currently a Senior Advisor at the Global Telecommunications and Technology Corporation (GTEL), a subsidiary of the Ministry of Public Security, Mr. Trung was born in 1982 and holds a degree in Business Administration. He is deeply connected to the GELEX ecosystem—a diversified conglomerate—serving as Deputy CEO of GELEX (GEX) and CEO of Gelex Electric (GEE).
Alongside Mr. Trung, the nominee list includes Mr. Võ Mạnh Cường, Director of GTEL’s Telecommunications Service Center, and Mr. Nguyễn Hoàng Linh, CEO of FPT Telecom.
For the Supervisory Board, Ms. Lưu Nguyễn Kim Thoa, Head of Finance and Accounting at GTEL, is nominated to join this term’s structure.
To complete the new leadership team, FPT Telecom proposes dismissing two Board of Directors members, Ms. Trần Thị Hồng Lĩnh and Mr. Phan Thế Thành, along with Mr. Đỗ Xuân Phúc from the Supervisory Board. These individuals, representing SCIC’s capital, submitted their resignations on July 16, 2025, coinciding with the state capital transfer process.
