Upcoming Launch of 13 Projects with a Combined Investment of Nearly VND 30 Trillion in Hai Phong

Unveiling a wave of progress, 13 transformative infrastructure projects spanning transportation, industry, seaports, and urban housing are set to break ground and celebrate completion by year-end. With a combined investment nearing 30 trillion VND, these initiatives mark a significant leap forward in regional development.

Hai Phong City is set to commence and inaugurate 13 significant projects on December 19, in celebration of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. These projects, with a combined investment of nearly VND 30 trillion, mark a pivotal moment in the city’s development.

Among the five projects registered with the central government, two key transportation initiatives stand out. The first is the infrastructure development project connecting stations and the station square along the Lao Cai – Hanoi – Hai Phong railway line, located at the Nam Hai Duong station entrance in Gia Loc and Yet Kieu communes. The second is the construction of the traffic interchange between Bui Vien and Le Hong Phong streets in Hai An ward.

Two urban development projects are also in the spotlight: the construction of seven residential buildings (CT1 to CT8) within the Trang Due Social Housing and Commercial Services project in An Duong ward, and a mixed-use development at lot I.14/CTHH-01 in the Bac Song Cam New Urban Area in Thuy Nguyen ward. These urban and housing projects boast a total investment of over VND 9.1 trillion.

The Luong Dien – Ngoc Lien Industrial Zone infrastructure development and business project in Cam Giang commune, led by Luong Dien Ngoc Lien Industrial Zone JSC, has an investment of over VND 2.1 trillion.

Additionally, Hai Phong City plans to launch and celebrate eight more projects. These include the construction of a logistics service center, oil and goods port, oil storage, and commercial service area in Nguyen Dai Nang ward, developed by Duc Duong – Hai Phong LLC with an investment of nearly VND 2 trillion.

The second phase of the Nomura Hai Phong Industrial Zone infrastructure development and business project in Hong An ward, invested by Hai Phong International Industrial Zone JSC, has a capital of over VND 4.3 trillion.

The residential area project at 226 Le Lai alley in Ngo Quyen ward, developed by Kim Trang Import-Export LLC, has an investment of over VND 5.2 trillion.

The remaining five projects include the construction of emergency, technical, paraclinical, examination, administrative, and inpatient buildings at Hai Duong General Hospital; the traffic interchange between Bui Vien and Vo Nguyen Giap streets in An Bien and Le Chan wards; and the development of An Tho, An Phu, and Dung Tien – Giang Bien industrial clusters in An Hung, Tran Lieu, Kinh Mon, and Vinh Thuan communes, each with investments ranging in the hundreds of billions of VND.
