Da Nang prioritizes social housing development.

The city targets the completion of nearly 29,000 social housing units during the 2025-2030 period.

Specifically, the projected numbers are: over 2,600 units in 2025, nearly 5,000 in 2026, 5,000 in 2027, 5,200 in 2028, 5,700 in 2029, and 5,400 in 2030.

Priority Streamlining for Social Housing Projects

The Da Nang People’s Committee directs relevant agencies to streamline administrative procedures, categorizing social housing projects under the “green lane” and “priority lane.” This involves simultaneous processing of investment, land, planning, construction, and environmental procedures.

City leaders mandate minimizing project appraisal, approval, land allocation, construction permitting, and related procedures. The goal is to reduce administrative processing time and compliance costs by at least 50% compared to current regulations.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment will coordinate with district authorities to update planning based on the 2025-2030 social housing project list. They will also guide land allocation, leasing, and environmental permitting for social housing projects, ensuring compliance with land use regulations and addressing delays.
