In other developments, on November 28, 2025, Viglacera received Decision No. 1418/QÐ-DNL dated November 5, 2025, from the Large Enterprise Tax Department, imposing administrative penalties for tax violations identified during an audit.

The decision highlighted that Viglacera had incorrectly calculated its tax base, resulting in underpayment of taxes, and had submitted incomplete or inaccurate tax filings, though these did not lead to underpayment.

The total administrative fine amounted to 120 million VND, including 114 million VND for underpayment of taxes (20% of the underpaid amount) and 6.5 million VND for inaccurate filings under item 4254.

Additionally, Viglacera was required to pay the outstanding tax amount of over 570 million VND to the State Budget, along with nearly 41 million VND in late payment penalties.

The late payment penalties were calculated up to October 22, 2025. Viglacera is responsible for calculating and paying any additional penalties incurred after this date until the full payment of taxes and fines is made to the State Budget.

The total amount due, including tax arrears, administrative fines, and late payment penalties, exceeds 731 million VND.

To streamline operations, on November 28, 2025, Viglacera’s Board of Directors issued Resolution No. 343/TCT-HĐQT, terminating the operations of four branches: the Ho Chi Minh City Branch, Da Nang Branch, the Project Management Unit for the Viglacera My Xuan Ceramic Plant, and the Hanoi Branch of the Glass and Construction Ceramics Corporation.

Earlier, on November 11, 2025, the Board issued Resolution No. 321/TCT-HĐQT, closing three business locations: the Project Management Units for the Phu Ha Industrial Zone, Dong Van IV Industrial Zone, and Tien Hai Industrial Zone.
