As of the closing trading sessions last night and early this morning on December 24th (Vietnam time), Robusta coffee prices on the London exchange rose by 1.35%-1.49%, while Arabica prices on the New York exchange experienced minor fluctuations of less than 0.5% (both increases and decreases).
Robusta Prices Surge
Specifically, the March 2026 Robusta futures contract increased by $56 per ton, reaching $3,824 per ton, while the January 2026 spot contract saw a significant rise of $104 per ton, climbing to $3,970 per ton.
Arabica prices for the March 2026 contract decreased by $10 per ton, settling at $7,650 per ton. Longer-term contracts showed slight increases, but all remained below 0.5%.
Today’s domestic coffee prices are expected to continue rising from the previous level of 92,700 VND/kg, ahead of the London session.
Domestic coffee prices have been on an upward trend since the end of the week, with each session seeing increases of 1,000–1,300 VND/kg due to strong buying interest. Agents and enterprises facing delivery deadlines are compelled to purchase rather than wait further.

Spain Invests Over Half a Billion USD in Vietnamese Coffee Imports
Recently, major markets have increased their coffee imports, boosting Vietnam’s market share in several countries.
Spain stands as Vietnam’s third-largest coffee importer, following Germany and Italy.
According to data from the International Trade Centre (ITC), in the first nine months of 2025, Spain imported 283,400 tons of coffee globally, valued at $1.97 billion. This represents a 1% decrease in volume but a 47.4% increase in value compared to the same period last year.
During this period, Vietnam was Spain’s largest coffee supplier, accounting for approximately 33% of the market share, a slight increase from the previous year.
