North Ninh: Top Salaries Reach Nearly Half a Billion VND/Month, with Lunar New Year Bonuses Up to 400 Million VND/Person

According to the Department of Home Affairs of Bac Ninh Province, foreign-invested enterprises continue to lead in salary and bonus levels. The average monthly salary reaches nearly 10 million VND per person, with the highest salary exceeding 460 million VND per person per month, also within the foreign-invested enterprise sector. Meanwhile, the highest Tet bonus stands at 400 million VND per person.

In an exclusive interview with Tiền Phong, a spokesperson from the Department of Home Affairs in Bắc Ninh Province revealed insights into the 2025 salary landscape. According to reports from over 1,300 businesses employing more than 643,000 workers—approximately 80% of the province’s total workforce—the average monthly salary stands at nearly 10 million VND per person. Remarkably, the highest salary reaches up to 461 million VND per month, primarily within foreign-invested enterprises.

Regarding the 2026 New Year’s bonus, nearly 780 out of 1,300 surveyed companies have outlined bonus plans for over 325,200 employees. The average bonus is 560,000 VND per person, with the highest bonus exceeding 219 million VND, awarded by domestic private enterprises. Conversely, the lowest bonus is 100,000 VND per person.

Bắc Ninh’s Lunar New Year bonuses peak at 400 million VND.

For the 2026 Lunar New Year, over 1,200 businesses in Bắc Ninh have planned bonuses for more than 511,400 workers, averaging nearly 8 million VND per person. The highest bonus reaches 400 million VND, again attributed to foreign-invested firms, while the lowest remains at 100,000 VND.

Bắc Ninh Province hosts over 3,350 active FDI projects, totaling more than 46 billion USD in investment from 42 countries and territories. Global giants such as Samsung, Foxconn, Goertek, and Luxshare continue to establish Bắc Ninh as a strategic manufacturing hub, solidifying its pivotal role in the global high-tech value chain.
