On December 26th, the Da Nang Department of Home Affairs released a report detailing salary and bonus trends within local businesses.

According to the report, 157 companies have announced planned Lunar New Year bonuses for employees in 2026. The highest bonus, nearly 370 million VND, is offered by a foreign-invested enterprise. Domestic private companies follow with bonuses exceeding 280 million VND, while state-owned enterprises offer 220 million VND and single-member LLCs fully owned by the state provide 40 million VND.
The lowest Lunar New Year bonus is 100,000 VND per person, awarded by a state-controlled joint-stock company.
For the Western New Year, the highest bonus reaches 140 million VND per person at a foreign-invested company, while the lowest is 50,000 VND per person, seen in both foreign-invested and domestic private enterprises.
Regarding actual salaries paid in 2025, the highest monthly wage, over 368 million VND, is found in foreign-invested companies, while the lowest, 3.6 million VND, is reported in domestic private businesses.
