Exclusive Investment Opportunity: December 20-26, 2025 – 6 Mega Urban Projects with Over $2.1 Billion in Capital

During the week of December 20-26, 2025, four provinces attracted investment in eight projects, totaling over 54.6 trillion VND. Notably, six of these projects are urban developments, with a combined investment of more than 47.2 trillion VND. The most significant project is a nearly 24 trillion VND urban area in Dien Bien province.

Son La: 3 Projects

The People’s Committee of Son La Province has announced plans to invite investment for the Ang Stream Urban Area project, spanning over 44 hectares in Van Son Ward. The project aims to accommodate 4,150 residents, featuring approximately 1,021 residential plots, including 653 townhouses, 88 villas, 98 resettlement plots, and 182 social housing units (semi-finished, exterior completed). The total investment capital is over VND 1,620 billion, with an estimated implementation timeline of 81 months from the approval of the investment policy.

In Van Ho Commune, the province is calling for investment in the Van Ho Cloud Therapy Eco-Urban Area, covering 170 hectares and targeting a population of 4,300 to 4,600 residents. The project requires an investment of VND 3,037 billion. It includes the construction of approximately 190 eco-resort villas (maximum 3 floors) and 1,150 commercial housing units. The project is expected to be completed within 92 months.

Additionally, the province has announced the Urban Renovation and Beautification Project in Ward 1, Moc Chau Town, covering nearly 4.7 hectares and accommodating 700 residents. The investment capital is over VND 308 billion, with a 54-month implementation period.

Bac Ninh: 3 Projects

The Bac Ninh Province’s Civil Project and Urban Development Management Board is set to invite investment for three urban area projects, totaling nearly 133 hectares with a combined investment of approximately VND 18,889 billion.

The Urban Area No. 15 and Green Waterway project, part of Sub-Zone 2 Planning in Bac Giang City (now Tan Tien Ward), covers about 54 hectares with an investment of nearly VND 8,723 billion. The implementation period is 84 months.

Urban Area No. 2 within Urban Areas 11 and 12 of Sub-Zone 2 in Bac Giang City (now in Bac Giang and Tan Tien Wards) spans over 39.8 hectares, with an investment of nearly VND 2,646 billion. The project is expected to be completed within 60 months.

The Thai Ha Urban Area project in Nanh Ward covers over 38.8 hectares, with an investment of more than VND 7,520 billion. The implementation timeline is 72 months.

Ninh Binh: 1 Project

The Ninh Binh Province Department of Finance is inviting investment for the Ninh Binh Flexible Power Plant project, located in Kim Dong, Binh Minh, and Dinh Hoa Communes.

The project covers approximately 49.32 hectares of land and water. The power plant has a designed capacity of 300MW, with an investment of nearly VND 7,108 billion. The implementation period is from 2025 to 2027.

Dien Bien: 1 Project

The Dien Bien Province Department of Planning and Investment has announced plans to invite investment for the New Urban, Tourism, Resort, and Sports Service Area project in the northwest of Dien Bien Phu Ward.

The project spans over 228.5 hectares across Dien Bien Phu Ward and Thanh Nua Commune, with a total investment of more than VND 23,660 billion. It aims to accommodate approximately 12,000 residents.

The project is divided into two phases. Phase 1, from Q4/2026 to Q4/2028, focuses on developing technical infrastructure over approximately 101.7 hectares, including key components such as a sports service area, an 18-hole golf course, a golf practice area, parking lots, commercial and high-rise service buildings, and internal transportation systems. Phase 2, from Q4/2028 to Q4/2030, involves the development of technical infrastructure over approximately 126.8 hectares and the completion of all remaining project components.
